Al Ghurair Mobility Plans to Launch Dongfeng Brands in Saudi Arabia

Al Ghurair Mobility has entered into a partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation to launch the high-end automobile brands MHero and Voyah in Saudi Arabia.

This initiative represents a significant advancement in Al Ghurair Mobility’s expansion strategy in the region, as it introduces innovative new energy and hybrid vehicles that emphasize performance, luxury, and cutting-edge technology. The rollout is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives focused on sustainable growth and economic diversification, offering high-quality electrified mobility solutions supported by Al Ghurair’s extensive service infrastructure and regional expertise.

The signing event was graced by top executives from both organizations, including John Iossifidis, the group CEO of Al Ghurair, Oscar Rivoli, CEO of Motors at Al Ghurair Mobility, and Qiu Xiaojun, CEO of China Dongfeng Import and Export Co. (DFMIEC), who oversees the Overseas Marketing Division for Passenger Vehicles at Dongfeng Motor.

“This collaboration is a pivotal step in bolstering our footprint within the Saudi marketplace,” remarked John Iossifidis, group CEO of Al Ghurair. “MHero and Voyah embody Dongfeng’s commitment to innovation, fusing state-of-the-art technology with luxury and new energy. Together, we are launching globally recognized brands that resonate with the Kingdom’s aspirations for sustainable mobility.”

Qiu Xiaojun, CEO of China DONGFENG Import and Export Co., expressed, “We are excited to partner with Al Ghurair Mobility to introduce MHero and Voyah to Saudi Arabia. MHero, launched in 2022, serves as Dongfeng’s ultra-premium off-road division, reflecting the company’s military legacy. Its offerings, like the MHero 1 and MHero 2, boast cutting-edge electrified powertrains and striking designs, placing it among the elite luxury off-road SUVs globally.

Voyah, introduced in 2021, symbolizes Dongfeng’s venture into high-end electric mobility. With models including the Voyah FREE SUV and Voyah DREAM MPV, this brand merges elegant design with impressive range and advanced driver-assistance technologies, offering Saudi consumers a sophisticated option within the luxury electric vehicle market.
