Aligned Automation Moves AI from Corporate Offices to the Race Track

In a significant merger of technology and passion, Aligned Automation, a global technology services firm driven by artificial intelligence, has ventured into the motorsport realm by partnering with Diana Pundole, the first Indian female racer to drive a Ferrari. This collaboration was announced at an energetic event held at the Taj Exotica in Dubai, where Pundole unveiled the Ferrari 296 Challenge car, prominently displaying the Aligned Automation (AA) logo, marking the kickoff of her racing tour in the Middle East.

This partnership transcends mere sponsorship; it serves as a groundbreaking trial of integrating enterprise-level data analytics into the dynamics of competitive racing. For Aligned Automation, this venture signifies an extension of the high-level decision-making and precision it offers to its corporate clients, now applied in the thrilling context of racing, where speeds can reach 300 km/h.

“This partnership reflects our fundamental philosophy,” stated Nitin Ahuja, CEO of Aligned Automation. “We don’t simply support speed; we actively engineer it. Diana’s first experience with Ferrari symbolizes not just her personal achievement but a collaboration of two formidable forces aimed at enhancing performance driven by data. Together, we are redefining limits both on the racetrack and within the business sector.”

Data as the Modern Pit Crew

Outwardly, it is a striking red Ferrari racing down the track. However, beneath its sleek exterior lies a complexity driven by data. A single race weekend can produce over a gigabyte of telemetry, encompassing details like braking pressure, throttle positions, tire temperatures, and G-forces. Transforming this sea of raw data into valuable insights is where Aligned Automation excels.

“When Diana approached us about entering the racing arena, it felt like a natural synergy,” Ahuja shared during a discussion surrounding the launch. “Racing demands speed, rapid decision-making, and accuracy. Precision is critical, mirroring our business model where we aim to deliver exact business outcomes for our clients.”

The company’s proprietary platform, AAxon, has been instrumental in various projects for global tech enterprises. “We have implemented AI across customer operations on a large scale, and we are now applying that intelligence within the motorsport sector,” Ahuja noted.

In Pundole’s case, Aligned Automation will be analyzing her racing data throughout the 2025–2026 Middle East Ferrari Challenge Series, which includes events in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Jeddah, Qatar, and Dubai. The firm’s AI and machine learning algorithms will pinpoint patterns, enhance decision-making processes, and identify crucial opportunities for advancement—ranging from corner speeds to optimal acceleration zones.

A Racer’s Competitive Advantage

For Pundole, this collaboration introduces a fresh perspective to her career, merging instinct with data analytics. “Beginning this season with Aligned Automation marks my first partnership with them, and I am eager to collaborate as they are specialists in interpreting and analyzing data,” she expressed. “They will delve into my data, which consists of numerous parameters that change every millisecond: brake points, acceleration rates, steering angles, and engine performance. I will definitely rely on their expertise.”

She emphasized that this partnership will allow her to “analyze extensive data” from each session, a crucial skill for any top-tier driver. “As a race car driver, merely driving isn’t enough. You must discern where it’s necessary to slow down and where to speed up. This ongoing comparison fosters learning and, subsequently, successful outcomes,” she elaborated.

The collaboration is designed for mutual learning. “This partnership signifies a pioneering endeavor for them as they engage with a racing driver, and I believe we both will gain valuable insights from one another,” Pundole added.

Looking Beyond the Finish Line

This partnership extends beyond performance improvement; it marks Aligned Automation’s official foray into the Middle East, aligning with the UAEs Vision 2031 and Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives, which emphasize innovation, AI integration, and tech-driven economic diversification.

“Aligned Automation is embarking on a thrilling growth trajectory in the UAE as we enhance our regional footprint,” Ahuja stated. “With an established base in Dubai and plans for a second location in Abu Dhabi, we are reinforcing our dedication to the market. Our recent memorandum of understanding with Kamali & Kamali Holding underscores our strategic objective to position the UAE as a hub for the development and export of advanced digital and IT services globally.”

The company’s vision includes cultivating domestic AI capabilities that cater to both regional and international clients. “We aspire to establish a sustainable economy focused on IT services—developing locally in the UAE and exporting outside markets, rather than depending on external sources,” Ahuja explained. “This dual approach of nurturing the next generation of AI talent while applying data science to tangible performance exemplifies Aligned Automation’s role as more than just a consultancy; it is fundamentally a performance engineering firm.”

Where AI Meets Passion for Racing

The intersection between AI and motorsport may appear unexpected, yet both fields necessitate precision, resilience, and a focus on incremental improvements. Each lap is an opportunity for Aligned Automation and Pundole to glean new insights, creating a perpetual feedback mechanism where machine intelligence enhances human intuition.

For Pundole, this marks a pivotal advancement in her racing career. “I aim to participate in Ferrari Challenge races, which will be the next step with this specific vehicle,” she noted. “This genre of racing—GT car racing—has its own dedicated fan base and presents exciting prospects ahead.”

For Aligned Automation, this collaboration serves as both a metaphor and a testament to their capabilities. The realm of racing provides a live analogy of their business: transforming unprocessed data into enhanced performance results.

“AI is frequently a misunderstood concept,” Ahuja remarked. “Many assume it operates autonomously, but it does not. Artificial intelligence lacks true cognitive abilities; it revolves around data. Understanding the data, regulating it responsibly, and converting it into informed decisions is where the real value lies.”
