Binghatti of Dubai Unveils Shariah-Compliant Asset Management Company in DIFC

Binghatti Holding, a luxury real estate developer from the UAE, has unveiled Binghatti Capital Limited, an asset management company situated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The firm aims to manage around $1 billion in Shariah-compliant strategies focused on private credit and real estate.

With approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Binghatti Capital is authorized to operate within DIFC, offering services solely to professional clients.

In its real estate endeavors, Binghatti Capital will cover the acquisition and sale of pre-construction residential properties, alongside developing and selling residential projects. The private credit platform will provide financial solutions to supply chains for construction firms, property managers, and essential industry suppliers.

Beyond private funds, the firm will offer both discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio services, delivering personalized investment solutions that align with the specific goals of professional clients.

Enhancing Binghatti Holding’s Investment Reach

Katralnada Binghatti, Executive Director at Binghatti Capital, remarked: “Establishing an asset management branch is a strategic effort to expand Binghatti Holding’s investment reach and improve access to alternative funding sources.

“We are convinced that Binghatti Capital’s unique offerings support our long-term goal to expand into high-value, revenue-producing investments that foster sustainable growth. Through our new Shariah-compliant private investment strategies, we not only bolster our role in the UAE’s real estate sector but also align with Dubai’s aspirations to become a top global destination for foreign investment.”

Shehzad Janab, CEO of Binghatti Capital, stated: “Binghatti Capital serves as a strategic expansion of Binghatti Holding’s capabilities, crafted to drive growth and enhance resilience, ensuring ongoing success across varying market conditions. Our initial set of distinctive strategies is carefully designed to offer real estate investment opportunities typically available only to major institutions.

“Our focus on disciplined governance, active management, and a robust Shariah-compliant framework is aimed at achieving significant returns while diversifying our capital sources for future developments by Binghatti Group.”

Salmaan Jaffrey, Chief Business Development Officer at DIFC Authority, commented: “We warmly welcome Binghatti Capital to DIFC, the region’s largest financial hub, housing over 46,000 professionals.

“The arrival of Binghatti Capital will further enhance Dubai’s financial ecosystem and solidify DIFC’s position as the principal hub for asset management in the region. With more than 400 firms specializing in wealth and asset management, DIFC remains the top destination for asset management companies seeking expansion and opportunities in the region.”
