His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the winners of the Arab Youth Media Award “Creativity” during its ninth edition, with the attendance of Muna Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Executive Member of the Dubai Media Council, Chair of the Dubai Press Club, and Chair of the Organizational Committee for the Arab Media Summit 2025.
Winners
Ahmed Samir Badwan from Al Ain University was awarded in the photography category, while a team from Yarmouk University in Jordan received the prize for journalistic reporting. In the short video category, the award went to Judy Mohammed Zaki from the American University in Cairo. Abdullah Khalid Ali from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai won in the multimedia category.
Additionally, a team from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia received the award for podcasting, and Amina Saleh Al-Tuniji from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Ras Al Khaimah won for the electronic games category.
Objectives
The purpose of the award, initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, is to enhance the Arab media sector by introducing fresh perspectives and encouraging young talents to innovate in media, aligning with the rapid changes in the field and ensuring the development of skilled media personnel.
