As Dubai strengthens its status as a center for innovation, Dreame Technology marks its entry into the Middle East and Africa (MEA) with a significant leap towards smart living and technology enhancement in the region.

On April 24, 2025, Dreame launched its first flagship store in the MEA at Dubai Hills Mall, coinciding with the introduction of a new series of intelligent home appliances. The new products include groundbreaking items like the X50 Ultra Complete Robovac and the H15 Pro Wet and Dry Vacuum, each designed to create smarter, more efficient home environments.

Scaling the Presence: Expanding Across MEA

Johannes Mueller, the director for the Middle East and Africa at Dreame, draws on over 15 years of experience in retail and distribution. He views this launch as a testament to the company’s commitment to the MEA region.

By inaugurating its first physical location in Dubai, Dreame is providing customers with a more engaging and accessible brand experience, while reiterating its long-term investment in the MEA market.

Dubai’s allure as a digital innovation and smart living epicenter aligns perfectly with Dreame’s focus on next-generation home cleaning solutions, serving as an ideal venue for introducing and expanding these innovations throughout the broader MEA area.

“In the next 18 months, our goal is to establish 150 sales points in key MEA markets, including Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco,” Johannes stated. This expansion will be supported by a network of reliable local partners and collaborative channels under Dreame’s Star Light Expansion Plan. “The Star Light Expansion Plan is fundamental to our strategy of positioning Dreame as a premier brand in smart home appliances.”

Since its inception in 2017, Dreame has grown to become a global frontrunner in high-end home appliance technology. The company operates in over 100 countries, including China, the USA, Germany, France, and South Korea, boasting a network of over 6,000 retail locations and more than 11 million channel partners worldwide.

“By 2027, Dreame aims to claim 50% of the robot vacuum market share within the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Johannes remarked, underscoring the brand’s strong commitment and growth ambitions in the region.

Addressing Local Preferences with Global Expertise and Innovative Offerings

The MEA market represents a distinct opportunity for advancements in smart living. Consumers are increasingly drawn to high-performance, connected devices that blend functionality with sophisticated design. There is a growing demand for the integration of home systems like centralized lighting, air conditioning, and cleaning solutions.

“Our Dubai store signals the start of a more profound regional connection,” Johannes noted. “We’ve established solid local partnerships and are now planning to customize our products to align with regional demands, which includes tailored offerings, local services, and marketing strategies.”

He emphasized Dreame’s dual product strategy: “We are forging strong partnerships with leading retailers such as Amazon, Noon, Eros, Jumbo Electronics, and Sharaf DG. In addition to premium flagship products, we are also providing more affordable alternatives to increase accessibility to advanced technology.”

At the core of Dreame’s launch in Dubai is a product range designed to satisfy actual household requirements:

Leading the new offerings is the X50 UC, recognized as the world’s first robot vacuum equipped with retractable legs. This innovative feature addresses practical challenges like navigating carpets, thresholds, and low-clearance furniture. It employs Dreame’s ProLeap™ System and VersaLift Navigation for real-time height adjustments, complemented by 20,000Pa Vormax™ suction, AI-driven path planning, and the Matter protocol for improved navigation and performance in complex settings.

Alongside the X50, the H15 Pro, a wet and dry vacuum tailored for the MEA market, features the industry’s first robotic arm that automatically lowers to eliminate cleaning blind spots. It incorporates 21,000Pa suction power, high-temperature brush washing, and a self-cleaning function, all aimed at enhancing cleaning effectiveness and coverage in a compact design.

In addition to floor care, Dreame is expanding into personal grooming and air purification. The Z30 cordless stick vacuum merges powerful suction with intelligent dust sensing and HEPA H14 filtration. The AirStyle Pro is versatile with multiple styling functions and temperature controls, while the PM20 air purifier adjusts airflow based on movement and air quality data through integrated sensors.

Each product epitomizes Dreame’s user-centric approach, emphasizing intuitive design, refined aesthetics, and daily functionality.

Technology and Reliability: Dreame’s Competitive Advantage

Having enabled over 21 million families globally to enjoy smarter living, the brand is deepening its investment in research and development. Dreame has submitted 6,379 patents worldwide, with 3,155 approved to date. With 60% of its global staff focused on innovation and development, Dreame continues to achieve advancements in intelligent algorithms and digital motor technologies.

“Our competitive edge lies in merging minimalistic luxury with state-of-the-art technology and effective lifestyle branding,” Johannes stated. “With seamless integration into a smart ecosystem, an expanding retail presence, and a robust innovation pipeline, Dreame is poised to spearhead smart living in the MEA region.”

“At Dreame, innovation is fueled by user input, enabling us to deliver enhanced products more swiftly. We are equally dedicated to sustainability—both in our product design and our operations—ensuring that our technologies foster a smarter and greener future,” Johannes concluded.

In a rapidly evolving and digitally transforming region, Dreame’s launch in the MEA is timely and visionary—an invitation for households across the Middle East and Africa to embrace smarter living, one innovative step at a time.
