Dubai Holding Investments and Brookfield Properties Launch Solaya Beachfront Residences in Jumeirah 1

Dubai Holding Investments, the investment division of Dubai Holding, in partnership with Brookfield Properties, a prominent global real estate asset management firm, has unveiled Solaya—an exclusive collection of 234 beachfront homes located in Jumeirah 1, Dubai.

Building on the established reputation of the Meraas brand within Dubai Holding Real Estate, this initiative marks a new phase in the enduring partnership between Dubai Holding Investments and Brookfield. Having already successfully transformed several of Dubai’s key retail and lifestyle areas, the collaborators are now setting a new standard for luxury living in the city’s residential market.

A distinguished architectural vision

Set within a 40-acre masterplan, Solaya comprises nine buildings featuring a curated selection of residences ranging from two to five bedrooms, penthouses, and 18 unique garden houses complete with private infinity pools. The project also includes duplexes designed with vast terraces for outdoor enjoyment. Each penthouse is designed for utmost privacy, featuring individual elevators, exclusive lobbies, and spacious terraces with infinity pools.

Crafted by the esteemed architectural firm Foster + Partners, with interior design by 1508 London, all residences are focused on enhancing indoor–outdoor living, showcased through open floor plans, lofty ceilings, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.

Omar Karim, CEO of Dubai Holding Investments, expressed: “Our longstanding alliance with Brookfield reflects Dubai Holding’s dedication to forming global partnerships that yield lasting benefits for the emirate. Together, we have established some of Dubai’s most iconic retail and lifestyle venues, and with Solaya, we are venturing into the residential domain. This project highlights our shared vision and faith in Dubai’s ongoing evolution as a premier global city. Aligning with reputable partners like Brookfield guarantees that each investment we pursue creates a significant impact, strengthens our communities, and enhances Dubai’s worldwide reputation as a center for innovation and opportunities.”

Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, added: “Solaya embodies our steadfast commitment to working with top-tier partners to develop outstanding destinations that enhance well-being and facilitate connections with nature—qualities that are increasingly important to modern homeowners. As consumer preferences evolve towards wellness-oriented design and carefully curated environments, Solaya not only meets but surpasses these expectations with a new standard of residential living in one of Dubai’s most established and sought-after neighborhoods.”

Rob Devereux, CEO of Brookfield Properties, remarked: “We are excited to introduce Solaya to the market as part of our dynamic collaboration with Dubai Holding Investments and Meraas. This exceptional project offers the chance for beachfront living in the heart of Jumeirah 1, surrounded by esteemed dining and lifestyle venues. Solaya represents a sophisticated blend of exclusivity, elegance, and a profound connection to the sea.”

Residents of Solaya will have access to a comprehensive array of wellness and leisure facilities, including a spa equipped with therapeutic saunas and treatment rooms, a fitness center with specialized studios, a private cinema, exclusive dining and meeting areas, and a resident’s lounge.

Situated in Jumeirah 1, the location combines the tranquility of beachside luxury with close accessibility to Dubai’s cultural and lifestyle centers. With J1 Beach nearby and easy access to Downtown Dubai, Solaya perfectly marries exclusivity with urban convenience.
