The updated fare structure is as follows:

  • During peak hours (from 8 AM to 9:59 AM and from 4 PM to 7:59 PM), the booking fee will be Dhs7.50, with a flag-fall fare of Dhs5.
  • For off-peak hours, the booking fee will reduce to Dhs4, while the flag-fall charge remains at Dhs5.
  • Nighttime rides will incur a booking fee of Dhs4.50 and a flag-fall fare of Dhs5.50.
  • The minimum fare for e-hailing taxis is now set at Dhs13.

This revised fare structure means that passengers in Dubai should expect a slight increase in upfront costs during peak times and late-night rides, particularly for those using e-hailing apps.

The new fares are effective immediately, with the RTA closely observing the impact on user behavior and service quality.
