Dubai South, a major metropolitan development that focuses on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has announced the introduction of new shared facilities within its Logistics District. Encompassing approximately 215,278 square feet, these spaces are designed with combinable units to cater to diverse business requirements, aiding in their expansion and boosting competitiveness in the regional market.
Situated in the freight forwarding zone, these facilities boast convenient access to significant transportation hubs such as Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port. Tenants will enjoy direct connections to the UAE’s road infrastructure, facilitating efficient logistics and operational processes. The project is anticipated to be completed and ready for occupancy by the first quarter of 2026.
Each unit comes with air conditioning, is accessible on the ground floor, and offers adaptable layouts for varying operational needs. The design emphasizes sustainability and allows for straightforward customization. Additionally, on-site retail spaces and amenities provide added convenience for tenants and their employees.
The new venture targets a wide range of clients, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), logistics providers, e-commerce businesses, traders, and any enterprises needing secure and strategically located facilities to facilitate international trade.
Units are available in two sizes—2,152 square feet and 3,767 square feet—and feature scalable options to accommodate business growth. All units are climate-controlled to ensure optimal conditions for stored products.
Commenting on the launch, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, stated: “Our goal at Dubai South is to empower businesses with innovative, flexible, and sustainable solutions that promote growth and efficiency. The introduction of these new shared facilities reflects our dedication to supporting SMEs by offering strategically positioned, state-of-the-art infrastructure that aligns with the evolving needs of both regional and global markets. We are committed to creating an ecosystem that nurtures SME development through tailored solutions, strategic connectivity, and a supportive business environment.”
Dubai South’s Logistics District plays a pivotal role in the UAE’s infrastructure framework. It provides direct access to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor and includes several specialized zones, such as cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, EZDubai—a designated e-commerce free zone—and the Contract Logistics Zone.
