During the Eid al-Adha festivities, Dubai experienced a significant influx of travelers, with over 629,000 individuals passing through its various entry points. These statistics underscore the emirate’s status as a key global hub for travel and residency.
Major General Talal Al-Shanqeeti, Assistant Director General of the Air Ports Sector, stated that the numbers during Eid highlight Dubai’s growing reputation as a favored travel destination for people worldwide, attributed to effective ground coordination and the implementation of advanced smart systems at all entry points.
“Our focus has been on providing a hassle-free travel experience by utilizing smart gates and artificial intelligence solutions, which have expedited processes and enhanced movement flow,” he remarked.
Additionally, he noted that enhancing travel experiences aligns with the Dubai government’s commitment to improving quality of life through adaptable services that meet the needs of individuals and increase institutional readiness.

Dubai International Airport led the traffic: At Dubai International Airport (DXB), 581,527 passengers were recorded, marking its status as one of the busiest international airports in the world.
