Egypt Enters MOU with ExxonMobil to Enhance Gas Exploration in the Mediterranean

The Egyptian Petroleum Ministry announced on Tuesday that Egypt has entered into a memorandum of understanding with ExxonMobil aimed at enhancing exploration and production of natural gas in the Mediterranean region of Egypt.

According to the ministry’s statement, ExxonMobil intends to invest in a new concession area situated to the west of Egypt’s Zohr gas field.
