Emirates Gas, a subsidiary of ENOC Group, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone Authority (UAQ FTZ), enabling Emirates Gas to serve as the exclusive provider of comprehensive gas solutions for enterprises within the free trade zone. This agreement represents a significant step in Emirates Gas’ development and supports ENOC Group’s overarching aim to offer dependable energy solutions throughout the UAE.

The agreement was finalized at the headquarters of ENOC Group, attended by Sheikh Mansoor Bin Ibrahim Al Mu’alla, executive director of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation in Umm Al Quwain, along with Hussain Sultan Lootah, acting group CEO of ENOC. The MoU was formally signed by Nader Al Fardan, General Manager of Emirates Gas, and Johnson M. George, General Manager of UAQ Free Trade Zone.

As part of the MoU, Emirates Gas will offer customized gas solutions, which will include centralized systems, tank installations, bulk product supply, cylinder provision, as well as technical and consulting services. Each solution will be created following comprehensive technical and financial assessments along with stringent safety evaluations.

Collaboration

This collaboration sets a foundation for continuous partnership between the two organizations and is anticipated to serve as a reference for similar agreements with other free zones and industrial hubs nationwide. By formalizing this exclusive relationship, the MoU emphasizes the importance of integrated gas supply solutions in enhancing economic growth and operational performance.

“We are excited to partner with the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone Authority to broaden our service offerings for customers in the free zone,” commented Hussain Sultan Lootah, acting CEO of ENOC Group. “By exclusively providing extensive gas solutions to businesses within the zone, we are addressing their specific requirements and reinforcing our commitment to delivering dependable energy solutions in the Emirate. This alliance is also strategically aligned with our goals, bringing benefits to both parties while further aiding the nation’s economic progress.”

Johnson M. George, General Manager of UAQ Free Trade Zone Authority, remarked: “At UAQ FTZ, our focus has always been to empower our investors with robust infrastructure, reliable partners, and the confidence necessary for growth. This collaboration with Emirates Gas, a leader in the industry recognized for safety, dependability, and professional excellence, is a strategic initiative to ensure our businesses have access to top-tier solutions.”

Emirates Gas continues to lead the energy sector in the UAE through innovation and a focus on sustainability. Among its latest advancements is the introduction of LPG Composite Cylinders, crafted from lightweight composite materials with a translucent design to enhance safety and user-friendliness. This product innovation, coupled with strategic alliances like the one with UAQ FTZ, fortifies Emirates Gas’ status as a premier energy solutions provider for industrial and commercial clients throughout the region.
