The 28th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is set to take place from June 27 to August 31, 2025, promising to be its most exciting season yet. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event will commence with a spectacular opening weekend from June 27 to 29, featuring a citywide celebration filled with incredible shopping discounts, live performances, massive prizes, and enjoyable activities for families.

In a first for the festival, DSS 2025 will introduce three distinct retail seasons to keep shoppers engaged throughout the summer. Kicking off with the Summer Holiday Offers on the opening weekend, this phase will be held from June 27 to July 17, boasting discounts of between 25% and 75% across numerous brands.

This first segment encompasses major savings on fashion, beauty, technology, and home goods, along with exclusive promotions at malls. Following this, the DSS Sales Season will provide nine weeks of deals from over 800 brands at more than 3,500 stores across the city.

Entertainment Line-Up for the Opening Weekend

The opening weekend of DSS will include free concerts at prominent malls. On Friday, June 27, the Dubai Festival City Mall will play host to Japanese dance star Sabrina and Palestinian-Jordanian pop singer Reina Khoury, while the following day features performances by Abri & the Band and singer-songwriter Noel Kharman.

City Centre Mirdif will welcome Syrian artist Al Shami and the indie rock group Jadal on Saturday, June 28, with additional roaming acts and live performances enhancing the atmosphere.
