flynas has revealed plans to restart direct flights between Jeddah and Kuwait beginning on November 1, 2025. This initiative is part of the airline’s expansive growth strategy and aligns with the country’s aviation and tourism goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
The reinstated route will feature three weekly flights linking Kuwait International Airport with King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. With this new service, flynas will operate a total of 10 flights weekly between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, which includes a daily service between Riyadh and Kuwait.

The increased connectivity is a significant component of flynas’ strategic growth initiative called “We Connect the World to the Kingdom.” The plan supports the National Civil Aviation Strategy, aiming to link Saudi Arabia to 250 international locations, serve 330 million travelers, and welcome 150 million tourists each year by 2030. Furthermore, this route will enhance access for pilgrims traveling to the Two Holy Mosques, contributing to the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP).
Encouraging tourism and travel between nations
The return of flights between Jeddah and Kuwait is anticipated to boost both business and leisure travel between the two countries, fostering stronger bilateral relations. This service will also aid in the economic diversification strategy in line with Vision 2030 by elevating Saudi Arabia’s role as a global travel hub.
flynas remains at the forefront of innovation in regional air travel. As the first airline to be listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), it now operates 139 routes to over 70 domestic and international destinations across 30 countries, providing more than 2,000 flights weekly. Since its establishment in 2007, flynas has served over 80 million passengers and aims to extend its network to 165 destinations.
A family-oriented approach: New kids’ check-in counter introduced
In an industry-first effort, flynas has recently unveiled a dedicated check-in counter for children and their families, making it the most family-friendly airline in Saudi Arabia. Announced in July 2025, this initiative is designed to foster a fun, stress-free, and inclusive travel experience for families.
Under the campaign “Make Them the Stars of the Journey,” this initiative’s first phase was launched at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, specifically in the domestic terminal. The check-in area features bright colors, a child-friendly counter, and vibrant branding that incorporates the airline’s mascot, Fernas.
The dedicated space includes visually appealing barriers, playful signage, and a friendly environment specifically designed for younger travelers. Staff are trained to offer warm and personalized service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Young passengers are also given customized boarding passes, adding an enjoyable and memorable touch to their travels.
This innovative initiative reflects flynas’ ongoing commitment to inclusivity in travel and aims to enhance the overall passenger experience for all demographic groups.
