Money20/20 Announces Founding Partners for Its Inaugural Event in Riyadh

Money20/20 Middle East has unveiled an impressive roster of founding partners for its first event in Riyadh this September, marking a significant step in Saudi Arabia’s effort to establish itself as a global fintech center.

AlRajhi Bank, Riyad Bank, STC Bank, Saudi National Bank, Tamara, Visa, and Vision Bank have all committed to being founding partners of this premier fintech event in the region.

These organizations will play a key role in guiding the strategic vision and content for the event, which is scheduled to take place from September 15-17, 2025, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.

The gathering is anticipated to attract over 45,000 participants and more than 600 international investors, alongside more than 450 exhibiting brands. Under the theme “Where Money Does Business,” topics will range from AI in finance and open banking to regulation and inclusive innovation.

Ali Bailoun, Visa’s regional general manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, remarked on the significance of this event.

“As Saudi Arabia progresses towards Vision 2030, the combination of digital infrastructure, open banking, and inclusive innovation is reshaping financial interactions,” stated Bailoun.

“We see this as an opportunity to foster collaboration within the ecosystem and help create secure and accessible payment solutions for the GCC,” he added. Abdulmajeed Alsukhan, co-founder and CEO of Tamara, emphasized that the event will expedite innovation.

“Joining as a founding partner of Money20/20 Middle East positions us at the heart of global fintech momentum. It’s not solely about gaining visibility; it’s about forging substantial partnerships and driving growth,” noted Alsukhan.

Annabelle Mander, executive vice president of Tahaluf, the event’s organizer, underscored its importance in the region.

“The quality of sponsors and partners backing Money20/20 Middle East highlights the event’s strategic relevance for the area,” Mander stated.

“These firms are influential contributors to financial innovation who understand the value of uniting the global fintech community in this vibrant market,” she continued.

Other notable sponsors include JP Morgan, Mastercard, Bupa, Ant International, Mambu, Tabby, Tap Payments, Tiqmo, Banque Saudi Fransi, and SME Bank, further emphasizing the event’s scope and international appeal.

Money20/20 Middle East will offer executive networking lounges, specially designed meeting programs, and an AI-driven matchmaking platform to connect sponsors, investors, and fintech innovators.

Additionally, Riyadh joins the ranks of cities that host the Money20/20 series, which has been ongoing for over ten years. Other locations include Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Bangkok, and São Paulo.
