Dubai, UAE – May 13, 2025 – Henry Chang, the CEO of NEXUS and the founder of CROSS Protocol, has enhanced the company’s strategy for regional growth through significant meetings in the United Arab Emirates, which included discussions with Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) and the Korean Embassy. These engagements mark an important step in building long-term partnerships in gaming, blockchain, and AI innovation.
During his time at DSO, Chang engaged with Omar Al Fahaim, the Head of Business Development, to explore potential collaborative opportunities. Al Fahaim pointed out DSO’s holistic development model that combines business, residential, and educational environments, closely aligning with NEXUS Hub’s goal to attract international gaming studios to Dubai. Their discussions also touched on DSO’s proactive stance towards emerging technologies, with both sides expressing strong enthusiasm for advancing joint projects.
“Our discussion was exceptionally constructive,” remarked Chang. “Omar provided valuable insights and articulated his vision effectively. We discovered considerable synergy between DSO’s infrastructure-focused strategy and our objective to position Dubai as a center for cutting-edge gaming and blockchain advancements.”
After the DSO engagement, Chang was received by high-ranking officials at the Korean Embassy in the UAE, including the Ambassador. This meeting, initiated by the Embassy, concentrated on enhancing economic relations and reinforcing cooperation between Korea and the UAE in the technology field. Embassy representatives shared meaningful perspectives on the historical ties between the two countries and expressed their full support for NEXUS’s regional objectives.
Chang articulated NEXUS Hub’s long-term vision of actively contributing to innovation initiatives in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He stressed the necessity of long-term partnerships to fully harness the capabilities of gaming, AI, and blockchain within the digital economy.
“These discussions exemplify the regional leadership and openness that make the UAE an ideal partner for technology-driven growth,” Chang stated.
These recent interactions are part of NEXUS’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the region, following the establishment of its UAE subsidiary, NEXUS HUB FZCO, as it accelerates its expansion in the Middle East.
