Yousef Al-Murshudi, the Director General of the Fujairah Charity Association, announced the launch of the 2025 Eid al-Adha campaign under the theme “Your Sacrifice is Joy and Reward.” The initiative aims to distribute the meat from the sacrifices to 26,000 beneficiaries both within and outside the country, focusing on those in need by providing them with meat that meets religious standards.

In collaboration with the Fujairah Municipality’s slaughterhouse management, the campaign will ensure the slaughtering, transportation, and distribution of the sacrificial meat across all regions of the Fujairah emirate while adhering to health regulations.

He highlighted that the cost of a sacrifice this year is set at 600 dirhams for donors within the country and 350 dirhams for those outside. The Fujairah Charity Association is committed to assisting benefactors in delivering their sacrifices to those who deserve them through specially designated refrigerated vehicles, ensuring that the meat arrives in safe and hygienic condition.

He pointed out that this annual initiative facilitates the process for donators and those making sacrifices, allowing them to provide meat to beneficiaries and bring joy to families in need during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

The association has ensured the presence of its representatives at over 23 locations throughout various parts of Fujairah, along with the identification of five slaughterhouses designated for the sacrifices in the emirate, located in Fujairah City and the regions of Masafi, Merbah, Dibba, and Al-Badiyah, ensuring coverage across the geographical area of the emirate.

Eid Clothing

Additionally, he noted that the campaign will also include the distribution of Eid clothing and fruit baskets, with the attire for orphans valued at 500 dirhams and the fruit basket at 100 dirhams. He emphasized that the charity’s online platforms are open for receiving donations aimed at helping eligible beneficiaries.

Furthermore, the association has started accepting support from donors and facilitating the donation process through various channels, including their website, bank deposits, SMS, the toll-free number 8008844, and electronic devices.
