Donald Trump has disclosed over $600 million in income from a variety of sources including cryptocurrency, golf clubs, licensing deals, and other business ventures in a public financial report released on Friday, showcasing the extensive business interests of the billionaire former president.

The annual financial disclosure, seemingly covering the calendar year 2024, indicates that Trump’s foray into cryptocurrency has significantly contributed to his financial portfolio, while also reporting substantial earnings from various properties and businesses.

Based on calculations from Reuters, Trump’s reported assets amount to at least $1.6 billion.

Insights from the Financial Disclosure

Although Trump claims to have placed his business assets in a trust managed by his children, the financial disclosures reveal that income from these ventures continues to benefit him directly, raising concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

For instance, some of his crypto-related businesses have thrived amid policy changes during his presidency, attracting criticism along the way.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt commented, stating, “President Trump, Vice President Vance, and senior White House staff have fulfilled their ethics training and financial reporting requirements. The Trump Administration is dedicated to transparency and access for the American public.”

The financial disclosure, dated June 13, did not specify the exact period it covers.

The specifics regarding cryptocurrency and other entries within the disclosure suggest that it extends through the end of December 2024, which means it may not account for the majority of the funds generated by the family’s crypto enterprises.

The rapid pace at which the Trump family has engaged in business dealings during his rise to the presidency makes this disclosure a snapshot of a time when the family was beginning to venture into the crypto market while primarily focusing on real estate and golf courses.

Trump recently launched a meme coin, $TRUMP, which reportedly generated around $320 million in fees, although it remains unclear how the revenue is divided between Trump-associated entities and their partners.

Beyond the meme coin, the Trump family has earned over $400 million from World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance company that they are involved with.

Additionally, they are part of a bitcoin mining operation and are engaged in exchange-traded funds for digital assets.

The disclosures reveal that Trump reported $57.35 million from token sales at World Liberty and holds 15.75 billion governance tokens within that venture.

Assets Tied to Trump Media

Trump’s wealth spans from cryptocurrency to real estate, with a significant portion linked to his investment in Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of the social media platform Truth Social.

In addition to his business ventures, Trump declared at least $12 million in income derived from passive investments, totaling a minimum of $211 million, according to Reuters.

His largest investments include alternative fund manager Blue Owl Capital Corp and government bond funds offered by Charles Schwab and Invesco.

The financial disclosure typically listed ranges for the value of his assets and income, and Reuters considered the lower estimates, indicating that the actual total for his assets and earnings is likely higher.

Trump’s Properties in Florida and Beyond

The report highlighted income from various assets, including Trump’s real estate in Florida.

His three golf-oriented resorts in Florida—Jupiter, Doral, and West Palm Beach—alongside the Mar-a-Lago private club generated no less than $217.7 million in revenue, as stated in the filing.

Trump National Doral, known for its renowned Blue Monster golf course, was the family’s top income source, earning $110.4 million.

It is important to note that these income figures reflect gross revenue, not net profits after expenses.

The disclosure underscored the global reach of the Trump family’s business endeavors, including $5 million from licensing fees tied to a project in Vietnam, $10 million in fees from an initiative in India, and nearly $16 million in licensing revenue for a project in Dubai.

Trump also collected royalties from various agreements, earning $1.3 million from the Greenwood Bible (advertised as “the only Bible officially endorsed by Lee Greenwood and President Trump”), $2.8 million from Trump Watches, and $2.5 million from Trump Sneakers and Fragrances.

Additionally, Trump reported $1.16 million earned from his NFT collection—digital trading cards depicting him—while First Lady Melania Trump garnered approximately $216,700 from licensing fees related to her own NFT series.
