In addition to the extreme temperatures, light rain was observed in Showkah and Wadi Isfay, located in Ras Al Khaimah, on Sunday.
The NCM has released a five-day weather forecast starting Sunday, July 27, signaling the potential for intense heat, dusty winds, and intermittent cloud cover across different areas of the country.
Weather system overview
Meteorologists are linking the current weather to a low-pressure system extending from the East, along with a weak disturbance in the upper atmosphere. This system is expected to affect the UAE’s climate for the remainder of the week.
