UiPath Launches New Office in Riyadh to Boost Automation and AI Initiatives in Saudi Arabia

UiPath, a prominent global player in the field of automation, has celebrated the opening of its new office located within the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh. This event signifies a key development in the company’s ongoing investment strategy and presence in Saudi Arabia.

The inauguration was attended by notable figures including Daniel Dines, founder and CEO of UiPath; Mark Gibbs, president of International at UiPath; and His Excellency Mohammed Alariefy, Assistant Deputy Minister for Digital Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). Additional attendees included representatives from major local clients, such as the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and the Shared Services Program (SSP), underscoring the increasing importance of automation and artificial intelligence in the Kingdom’s digital evolution as part of Vision 2030.

UiPath’s technologies are already being utilized by leading Saudi organizations like Aramco, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), and the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, providing significant operational efficiencies and measurable benefits across various sectors. The newly established office in Riyadh will act as a central point for the company’s ecosystem of customers and partners, emphasizing UiPath’s dedication to facilitating the adoption of Agentic AI by Saudi enterprises.

Daniel Dines remarked, “Saudi Arabia is making significant strides in shaping the future of innovation, and UiPath is excited to play a role in this transformative journey by offering an advanced Agentic AI platform. The launch of our Riyadh location signifies our long-standing commitment to the goals of Vision 2030. Our partnership with the Saudi Digital Academy reflects our strong belief in the importance of education and skill development. By merging our global know-how with local expertise, UiPath is empowering Saudi organizations to seize new growth opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.”

Alongside the office opening, UiPath, in collaboration with the Saudi Digital Academy, has announced the Second Edition of the Saudi Digital Academy Bootcamp, following the successful launch of the inaugural Saudi School of Automation program earlier in 2024. This new initiative is set to run from August 31 to November 20, 2025, with the aim of training and certifying 25 young professionals, providing them with crucial automation and AI skills to bolster the Kingdom’s evolving digital economy.

“Automation and AI are fundamental to the transformation initiatives of Saudi organizations, and UiPath is privileged to support this vision,” expressed Sara Al-Alsheikh, regional vice president and managing director for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain at UiPath. “With our solutions already driving operational changes across prominent Saudi institutions and our second bootcamp cohort nearing completion, we can see the real effects of our commitment to the Kingdom’s digital future. This office will be a collaborative space for customers, partners, and innovators to accelerate progress and build a pipeline of local talent who will lead the digital economy in Saudi Arabia for years to come.”

The inauguration of the Riyadh office signifies UiPath’s deepening involvement in the digital transformation initiatives of Saudi Arabia, fostering closer collaboration with governmental entities, businesses, and educational institutions to promote innovation, develop local talent, and encourage sustainable growth through automation and AI technologies.
