40 Artists Weave Stories of the “Ambassador of Two Visions

The Amaniat Center for People of Determination has launched its inaugural art exhibition for the Year of Community, inaugurated under the patronage of Sheikha Aisha bint Hamid Al Mulla, a member of the golden list at the “Thank You Creator of Wishes Global Award,” and Sheikh Issa bin Abdullah Al Mulla, an honorary board member at the center. The exhibition, entitled “Ambassador of Two Visions,” showcased works from over 40 Emirati and international artists, all of whom strived to develop profound art forms that foster connection and dialogue between the UAE and the world.

Through their artworks, the participating artists presented a visual window reflecting local heritage and environment, along with vibrant pieces rich in creativity. These works successfully merged traditional elements with experimental approaches in a cultural space well-known for embracing various forms of expression.

In this context, Sheikha Aisha bint Hamid Al Mulla remarked, “I truly commend the artworks created by the participating artists in this exhibition. They have skillfully utilized advanced artistic techniques to produce unique and extraordinary pieces.”

She emphasized the leadership’s unwavering support for the unique artistic movement in the country, which encourages creativity and its practitioners while organizing various initiatives and specialized events aimed at diversifying the development of fine arts and enhancing the skills of creators.

Additionally, she noted that many Emirati artists have achieved global recognition, securing a prominent place for themselves in the competitive sphere of fine arts that blends tradition with technological advancement. They remain dedicated to making lasting impacts globally through their art. She stressed the importance of nurturing promising talents and positioning the UAE as a global cultural hub, a nurturer of creativity, and a meeting place for talents as well as a world destination for the creative economy.

Dr. Adel Al Marzooqi, the General Director of the Amaniat Center for People of Determination, stated, “The exhibition represents the UAE’s message that unites all affiliations of the people, transforming differences into a source of cultural excellence rooted in humanity.” He also announced the launch of the “My Identity is Humanity” volunteer team, tasked with organizing events for the Year of Community at the center, as well as distributing the “Thank You Creator of Wishes Global Award,” which is awarded annually on International Volunteer Day during the “My Identity is Humanity” initiative. He added, “We have chosen the motto ‘The World Can’ for our volunteer team, as the UAE has built its unique humanitarian model, showing that the world can also achieve this.”

Cultural diplomatic advisor and global artist Nada Al Brazzi, the center’s art exhibition manager, pointed out that the artists participating in the “Ambassador of Two Visions” exhibition serve as ambassadors for their countries’ visions toward the UAE and for the UAE’s vision toward the world. On this occasion, the Amaniat Center honored Abdullah Al Ma’eenah, the designer of the UAE flag, with an honorary “My Identity is Humanity” passport and presented him with a flag artwork that adorned the exhibition.

She highlighted that the exhibition’s concept draws inspiration from the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, who envisioned a world characterized by values of connection and tolerance, a world that has come to fruition in the UAE. Consequently, every individual in the UAE becomes an ambassador for two visions: their nation’s vision for the UAE and the UAE’s vision for the world.

Artists were honored with the honorary passport “Ambassador of Artistic Wishes.”
