Abdullah Al Mari: Dubai Police Academy Programs Cater to Law Enforcement and Security Needs

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Dubai Police Chief, emphasized the significant role played by the Dubai Police Academy in training personnel within the various police departments and centers.

This is accomplished through the implementation of specialized educational and training programs that meet the demands of law enforcement and security. Additionally, the academy has successfully graduated a distinguished group of postgraduate students who have earned master’s and doctoral degrees, allowing them to continue contributing with their colleagues towards the strategic objectives of enhancing security and safety.

The remarks were made during a meeting to evaluate the Dubai Police Academy’s performance in the first quarter of this year, attended by Major General Dr. Ahmad Zaal Bin Kreshan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for financial and administrative affairs, Colonel Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commander-General for the academy and training matters, and Colonel Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Maula, Director of the General Administration for Excellence and Leadership.

Also present were Colonel Dr. Sultan Al Jamal, Director of the Dubai Police Academy, his deputy Colonel Abdulaziz Al Abdullah, Colonel Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Inspection, Councils, Committees, and Task Forces Department, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdulrazak Abdulrahim, Head of the Inspection Department, and several other officers.

Lieutenant General Al Marri reviewed the strategic indicators of the Dubai Police Academy, along with its key achievements and future projects, as well as performance results from the sub-departments during the first quarter of the year.

Colonel Dr. Sultan Al Jamal stated that this performance evaluation meeting for the Dubai Police Academy contributes to enhancing operational efficiency and discussing future projects and challenges. He highlighted that such meetings play a vital role in implementing a comprehensive work methodology and contribute to the introduction of various developmental plans aimed at achieving the desired objectives.
