This initiative is part of the specialized tracks under the “Dubai Content Creators” initiative launched by the Dubai Press Club in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, alongside leading experts and media institutions. The goal is to train a new generation of media professionals capable of producing high-quality economic content that enhances public awareness of financial and economic issues in a simplified and reliable manner.

Additionally, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed observed the graduation of the second batch of the “DXB500” program, aimed at training 500 communication professionals within government and semi-government entities in Dubai. Launched by His Highness, this initiative is implemented by the Media Office of the Government of Dubai in collaboration with several global media organizations, adhering to the best international standards and practices. Its purpose is to improve the effectiveness of communication in government entities and provide effective tools and strategies that meet the needs of the upcoming phase, contributing to a broader and more impactful dissemination of media messages.

This event took place during the second day of the Arab Media Summit 2025, where Sheikh Ahmed emphasized that preparing a new generation of journalists who can communicate Dubai’s developmental message and enhance effective media communication between government and semi-government entities is a significant step towards building an advanced knowledge-based media system that meets our developmental aspirations and strengthens the presence of Arabic content on the global stage.

On this occasion, His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, remarked that the graduation of the first cohort of the “Economic Content Creators” program symbolizes fruitful collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and the Dubai Media Council. It represents a significant step towards enhancing the economic content industry in the UAE and fostering a media environment that supports innovation and adapts to rapid economic developments locally, regionally, and globally.

His Excellency added that the program graduates form a nucleus for a new generation of content creators capable of connecting economic policies with the public through simplified professional content. The aim is for them to become partners in communicating economic policies and developmental strategies to the community in a reliable and fluid language, thereby enhancing community participation in supporting national directives. The Ministry of Economy views media, in all its forms and platforms, as a critical partner in the country’s economic development journey, playing an important role in conveying an accurate and comprehensive picture of the national economy and highlighting the state’s economic strengths and sustainable development efforts.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Chairwoman of the Dubai Press Club, expressed that the “Economic Content Creators” program is a key outcome of the strategic vision of the Dubai Press Club to develop specialized and impactful Arabic content. It is aligned with the leadership’s directives to enhance investment in human capital and equip young media talents with the necessary tools to produce effective content that serves various aspects of community life and critical state sectors, including economic awareness in a simplified manner that conveys vital information to a broad audience.

She expressed pride in graduation from the first cohort of the “Economic Content Creators” program, which is part of a larger strategic vision to develop Arabic content through the “Dubai Content Creators” initiative. This initiative aims to enhance competencies, improve content creators’ skills, and equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to enter the job market with high professional capabilities, while reinforcing their role in developing the media infrastructure through acquiring prestigious media experiences and increasing their global competitiveness.

Mahfouz Abdullah, Director of the Dubai Content Creators program, confirmed that the program was designed to address the growing need for specialized economic content in Arab media. She noted that the program’s agenda combines deep economic knowledge with modern media and technical skills to empower young people to produce reliable content that accurately reflects economic realities while making complex concepts accessible to audiences.

Graduates expressed their appreciation for the continuous efforts of the Dubai Press Club in creating a positive impact in the Arab media landscape through various quality projects. They commended the club’s initiatives aimed at providing real value to journalists, enabling them to achieve new levels of excellence in their fields.
