The Al-Azhar Mosque has strongly condemned the Israeli government’s decision to occupy the Gaza Strip and fully seize its territories.
It has urged an end to the policies of occupation, which are characterized by arrogance and violence, flouting international charters, laws, and resolutions, while persisting in further violations against the Palestinian people, the rightful owners of the land.
Al-Azhar calls for a unified effort from Arab, Islamic, and international communities, emphasizing the need to increase political, diplomatic, and legal pressure to halt the Israeli decision and confront attempts by Israel to plunge the entire region into chaos.
