Al-Yemahi praised this significant achievement in a statement, highlighting the remarkable successes of Emirati women on both regional and international stages, made possible through the unwavering support and clear vision of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, who places great emphasis on empowering women and creating a supportive environment for them to play a vital role in the comprehensive development across various sectors in the UAE.
He further noted that this accomplishment also reflects the diligent efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the “Mother of the Emirates,” who serves as President of the General Women’s Union, Chair of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the Honorary President of the Family Development Foundation, advocating for the empowerment of Emirati women in every field of work and leadership.
Al-Yemahi asserted that Sheikha Al-Nuwais’s attainment of this high international office highlights the prominent position the UAE has reached in global tourism and adds to its distinguished record in various global arenas.
