Emergency warnings remain in effect today in several areas due to the ongoing threat of flash flooding, as some suburbs received significant rainfall overnight, with totals reaching up to 130 millimeters.
Approximately 35,000 homes and businesses are still without electricity. Emergency services in New South Wales have responded to nearly 3,000 incidents and requests for assistance in the past 24 hours.
