A 15-year-old boy has set a new record in the Guinness World Records for the largest canvas artwork in the world, aiming to raise awareness about autism.
Kani Yachukwu Tajbo-Okeike, who is autistic, created a vibrant ribbon, symbolizing autism, surrounded by emoticons, covering an area of 12,304 square meters. This is significantly larger than a standard football field, which measures 7,140 square meters.
The monumental painting aims to shed light on autism spectrum disorder and the challenges faced by individuals like him amid stigma and limited resources in Nigeria.
The artwork, completed last November, was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records organizers in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, during World Autism Awareness Day last April.
