Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chair of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, visited the Tokyo National Museum, where she explored a rare collection of paintings and sculptures that depict the evolution of Japanese art through the ages. The exhibition included valuable artifacts from various historical periods, featuring everyday tools, traditional clothing, unique pottery, and items related to Samurai culture.
Upon her arrival, she and her accompanying delegation were welcomed by Kwanō Kazutaka, the museum’s Cultural Research Director, and Samuel Tan, the International Relations Director. They expressed their pleasure at her visit, which signifies the deep historical and cultural ties between the Emirati and Japanese peoples.
During her discussions with the museum officials, Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan emphasized the importance of cultural collaboration between her institutions and the museum.
