Mubadala Investment Company, a global investor from Abu Dhabi, has successfully finalized the purchase of its share in Loscam International from Sinotrans, as announced on June 26.

Post-transaction, Mubadala and Trustar Capital each possess a 30 percent share in Loscam, while FountainVest and Sinotrans hold 20 percent each.

This acquisition represents Mubadala’s inaugural co-control investment within Asia’s industrial landscape, reinforcing the increasing confidence of global investors in the region’s developing supply chain dynamics.

All necessary closing conditions and regulatory approvals have been fulfilled, as confirmed by the involved parties.

Loscam’s operations span 13 regions in the Asia-Pacific

Founded in 1942, Loscam is a leading provider of sustainable and high-quality logistics and pooling solutions, catering to major clients across the fast-moving consumer goods, retail, and manufacturing sectors.

The global pallet market continues to showcase considerable growth potential, enabling businesses to increase efficiency, lower costs, improve safety, and enhance sustainability. Mubadala’s investment signifies “a new phase for Loscam”

Li Shichu, Vice President, board secretary, and general counsel (Chief Compliance) of Sinotrans, remarked that Mubadala’s investment signifies “a new phase for Loscam.” He noted that the diversification and internationalization at the shareholder level will provide the company with a broader global perspective, advanced capital connections, and a boost in innovative drive. Sinotrans believes that this capital collaboration will enhance Loscam’s ability to broaden its global footprint and redefine collaboration within the logistics packaging equipment sector.
