A new initiative called “Ideal Face 2” has been launched at Dubai International Airport by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. The campaign, themed “This is the Dubai We Want,” aims to promote positive behavior and enhance a culture of civility within the community. It seeks to highlight and encourage committed role models, reflecting the emirate’s status as a leader in human and social values.
The launch event was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the Director General of the department, alongside Majed Al Joker, the Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, and Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, the Deputy Director General, along with several officials from Dubai’s residency authorities, and Issa Al Shamsi, the Senior Vice President of Passenger Operations at Dubai Airports. They observed the interactive activities being offered at Terminal 3, which have sparked notable community engagement.
The platform will remain active until July 13, providing an interactive experience for visitors to document humanitarian moments and pledge to uphold positive behaviors, while fostering mutual respect among community members.
Additionally, the initiative recognizes individuals who exemplify civic values through their actions, presenting them with a thank-you card inscribed with the phrase: “Ideal Face, This is the Dubai We Want.”
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasized that the initiative embodies the UAE’s vision of instilling positive societal values and demonstrates Dubai’s appreciation for civil and humane conduct. He noted that the design aims to create an interactive space for direct communication with community members, allowing insight into their aspirations and feedback, in line with the administration’s commitment to prioritize people and enhance quality of life, consistent with the goals set by the Government of Dubai.
