Dubai: An Iconic Destination Attracting Global Fashion Shows

Dubai has solidified its status as an iconic destination for leading global fashion brands, which increasingly choose to host their fashion shows and haute couture events there. This is attributed to its unique global character that embraces diverse cultures and seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary flair.

The city meets the demands of prestigious brands, particularly those looking to expand their international presence and attract a distinguished audience with varied tastes, thanks to its luxurious and vibrant marketplaces.

In this context, ZEGNA has announced the launch of its highly anticipated summer collection for 2026 in Dubai, marking the brand’s first fashion show outside of Milan Fashion Week. The new collection will be unveiled on June 11, showcasing the brand’s finest designs in one of the world’s most dynamic luxury markets.

The upcoming show is organized in collaboration with the Italian National Chamber of Fashion and is set to be a key highlight of a week-long series of unique experiences designed by ZEGNA to engage VIP clients, brand friends, and a selection of global journalists.

Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, stated that Dubai has emerged as a leading iconic destination in the realm of fashion and style due to its exceptional global character that accommodates various cultures. The city has successfully enhanced its position as a platform for prominent brands in this sector.

Through its expanding luxury markets, Dubai aims to establish a new standard of creativity while adhering to sustainability and digital innovation in fashion, making it an ideal choice for ambitious brands.

He added that ZEGNA’s selection of Dubai as the backdrop to share its success story labeled “Made in Italy” is a clear testament to the city’s status as a leading global capital that connects quality, heritage, and a bold vision for the future.

Gildo Zegna, Chairman and CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, expressed excitement about being the first to bring Italian art and creativity to Dubai.

We chose Dubai for its status as a contemporary world hub where cultures converge, innovative ideas flourish, and a brighter future takes shape, embodying a comprehensive vision of modern luxury.

Our focus on Dubai stems from its position as the ideal venue to reflect our vision and future aspirations. The anticipated show will coincide with the opening of Villa Zegna in Dubai, a special mobile event for the brand, which follows its recent tours in Shanghai and New York.
