Dubai Police Launches “Your Voice Matters” Initiative for Murqabat Residents

The Dubai Police, represented by the Positive Spirit Council, in collaboration with Al Murqab Police Station, organized the “Your Voice Matters” initiative. This initiative aims to engage with community members living in the Al Murqab area to enhance communication and activate direct channels for them to share their feedback and suggestions.

The meeting took place at Burj Nahar, opposite Dubai Creek, where Dubai Police listened to residents’ inquiries and observations regarding their services designed to enhance security and happiness. Officers responded to these inquiries and provided essential awareness guidance beneficial to the community.

Attendees included Brigadier Abdulmanan Abdelrahman Warsho, Deputy Director of Al Murqab Police Station, Dr. Sultan Al Shamsi, Director of Administrative Affairs at the station, Lieutenant Saeed Ghadir, Deputy Head of the Positive Spirit Council, and Mr. Mohammed Al Hajagi, General Coordinator of the Council, along with several officers, staff members, and residents of the area.

Aim of the Meeting

Regarding the “Your Voice Matters” initiative, Brigadier Abdulmanan Abdelrahman Warsho stated, “This meeting aligns with the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Chief of Dubai Police, emphasizing the need for effective and constructive direct communication with community members to assess the quality of services provided and to consider their feedback and suggestions.”

He confirmed that the “Your Voice Matters” initiative also aims to raise awareness among community members about the services provided by Dubai Police, strengthen communication channels, and gather feedback and suggestions, while expressing gratitude to all participants of the meeting.

Presentation of Services

During the meeting, an explanation was provided about key police services and initiatives aimed at promoting community well-being and enhancing security. These include the eCrime reporting service, the “Police Eye” initiative, and various awareness campaigns related to traffic and criminal matters, along with services provided by the International Protection Center concerning the risks and harms of drugs to individuals and society.
