Lieutenant General Harib Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Matters at Dubai Police, emphasized that serving the public with integrity and returning rights to their rightful owners is a fundamental principle guiding the work of Dubai Police. This commitment is aimed at enhancing field performance and providing high-quality services that satisfy clients and build community trust.
This statement was made during a field visit to police stations across the emirate, attended by Lieutenant General Eid Mohammed Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation, Brigadier Maajid Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, Brigadier Saeed Salem Al Madhani, Deputy Director of the General Department of Specialized Centers, and Brigadier Sultan Abdullah Al Owais, Deputy Director of the General Department of Deira Centers.
During the visit, he reviewed performance reports for the third quarter of the year, and discussed the outcomes of criminal transactions and various case files, as part of efforts to monitor work progress and improve operational efficiency of the stations.
Al Shamsi evaluated performance indicators and the results of service measurements provided at police stations, highlighting the necessity of ongoing improvement initiatives to create a comprehensive security framework that meets the leadership’s expectations. He noted the exceptional performance and high efficiency demonstrated by the stations in handling various cases, pointing out that staff exhibited readiness and discipline reflecting the professionalism characteristic of Dubai Police.
Furthermore, General Al Shamsi stressed that enhancing client satisfaction and delivering proactive and prompt services are strategic priorities. He stated, “The rights of individuals are a red line; dealing with their issues must be handled with utmost speed and professionalism, as serving the community is a responsibility and an honor that we value.”
During his tour, he met with several clients and listened to their feedback regarding the services provided, underlining that public opinions are a crucial source for performance development and workplace improvement. He also emphasized the importance of empowering young personnel at the stations, entrusting them with responsibilities in managing daily files and making field decisions.
