Dubai Residency Received 51.7 Thousand Video Call Requests in Just 6 Months

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has reported that its “Video Call Service” received 51,779 calls during the first half of this year. This reflects a growing interest from individuals and businesses, both locally and internationally, in utilizing this advanced digital platform, which facilitates direct communication with Dubai Residency employees without the need for in-person visits to customer service centers.

This service allows users to complete their official transactions quickly from anywhere in the world, requiring only a smart device equipped with a front camera and internet access.

This initiative aligns with Dubai’s commitment to streamline processes while reducing costs and effort for customers by providing a comprehensive digital environment that enhances user experiences and meets their increasing expectations for smart services.

According to statistics from Dubai Residency, the average duration of a video call was one minute, with entry and residence permit services accounting for the highest volume of incoming calls, totaling 42,000. This highlights the growing significance and demand for these services among individuals and corporations. Following closely were enterprise services, which received 5,782 calls, and financial services with 2,850 calls, while passport-related inquiries totaled 1,147 calls.

The data showcases the variety of transactions executed through the service, indicating the platform’s flexibility and its capacity to cater to diverse customer needs. The Dubai Residency also emphasized that this video call service is primarily designed to facilitate the completion of transaction procedures.

Customers can also receive answers to their inquiries via the Amer call center at the toll-free number 8005111, which operates around the clock throughout the week.

Dubai Residency noted that the video call service has proven effective in addressing various types of transactions, including those related to golden residence applications and urgent humanitarian cases. Additionally, it provides legal consultations and entry permit services, demonstrating that this variety enhances the service’s efficiency and makes it an excellent choice for all types of customers, whether they are individuals or organizations.
