Emirati Youth Promotes Products of Determined Individuals for Free

In a heartwarming gesture that highlights the spirit of generosity among the youth of the UAE, Emirati entrepreneur Jamil Aziz has incorporated products from individuals with disabilities affiliated with the Rashid Center for People of Determination in Dubai onto his e-commerce platform. This initiative aims to provide a dedicated space for showcasing, promoting, and selling handcrafted goods made by the center’s students, complete with free delivery for all orders, demonstrating his support for a community he describes as an “inexhaustible source of inspiration.”

Aziz expressed his admiration for the precision and creativity displayed in the students’ products, which range from artistic paintings to crafts, gifts, food items, and sweets. He acknowledged his responsibility as an Emirati youth and entrepreneur to create new market opportunities and pathways for individuals with disabilities, facilitating self-reliance and reducing their dependence on others.

He explained that his idea to feature products made by individuals with disabilities originated from his project launched two years ago, which focused on local product aggregation. Recently, he decided to establish a section titled “With Their Will, We Make a Difference” dedicated exclusively to showcasing products from this community throughout Dubai and the UAE. Aziz affirmed that all profits generated from this initiative would be directed entirely to the individuals involved.

Aziz stated, “I simply provide a platform for promoting and delivering the products made by people of determination for free. The true beauty lies in their craftsmanship.” He added that offering free delivery is the least he can do for this community, as their message transcends profit; it embodies love and giving.

He reported that the platform has received significant engagement from the public, noting that the demand for products from individuals with disabilities has exceeded his expectations. This community support reflects the awareness among Emiratis of the importance of humanitarian solidarity.

New Horizons

Mariam Osman, Director of the Rashid Center for People of Determination, praised Aziz’s initiative, considering it an exemplary model for collaboration between entrepreneurs and humanitarian organizations. She remarked that such initiatives open new avenues for individuals with disabilities to become active members of the production and innovation landscape in the country.

Osman emphasized that Aziz’s initiative is more than just a commercial venture; it signifies a tangible message that entrepreneurship in the UAE can serve as a route for giving as much as it is for achieving success.
