The Arab Youth Center is continuing its Tech Fellowship program for Arab youth in 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy. This intensive agenda focuses on health technologies and the role of artificial intelligence in their development, featuring a select group of creative young individuals from various Arab nations, highlighting the “health technology” track as a central theme for the second day of the program.
The day began with a keynote session discussing the future of health technology and global trends in this vital sector, emphasizing the importance of adopting intelligent solutions to enhance quality of life and improve the efficiency of medical systems in the Arab world.
Dr. Bashair Mohammed Mousa from the University of Sharjah shared insights into research within AI-supported health technologies, explaining how these innovations can provide more precise diagnostic and treatment tools, paving the way for young researchers to connect medical analysis with intelligent data and convert it into practical applications.
The event also featured a presentation on the twin digital and human experience for the first time in the Gulf region, delivered in an interactive workshop by Dr. Jamil Emad from Imperial College London. This workshop, broadcasted via Zoom, showcased the applications of digital twins in simulating the human body, representing a revolutionary advancement in modern medicine.
The activities continued with participants engaging in a workshop titled “Startups: Pitching and Storytelling Skills,” led by Hind Khalifat from the “Dariya” platform. This session covered effective methods for presenting entrepreneurial projects in a compelling manner to attract investors, as well as how to craft an inspiring narrative around the project idea.
