The inaugural Fujairah International Adventure Tourism Conference concluded, featuring the “Discover Fujairah” program that spanned two days. The event included exploratory trips to various tourist, natural, heritage, and archaeological sites in Fujairah. One of the highlights was a visit to the Wadi Wurayah Protected Area, known for its extraordinary biodiversity, making it a significant natural region. Participants enjoyed a unique experience in nature through hiking along a 5-kilometer round-trip trail, where they explored the rich diversity of wildlife, natural habitats, and unique plant species, all while immersing themselves in stunning ecological surroundings.
Additionally, a group of sea enthusiasts participated in an enjoyable fishing trip at the Fujairah Marine Club, located along the waters of the Gulf of Oman. This trip allowed them to engage in traditional fishing practices directly on the beach, where they learned about the richness of the marine environment and the variety of local fish. The experience concluded with a lunch featuring dishes prepared from the local catch, adding an authentic and interactive element to their outing.
Meanwhile, another set of participants headed to Fujairah Adventure Park, where they engaged in a variety of sports activities.
