Global Holding Plans to Merge 2 Point Zero, Multiply, and Food Holding

The International Holding Company has unveiled its plans to merge its main entities, “2 Point Zero,” “Multiply,” and “Food Holding,” into a significant investment organization valued at approximately 120 billion dirhams. This new entity aims to become one of the largest publicly traded investment firms in Abu Dhabi.

The newly combined organization will be rebranded as “2 Point Zero Group” and will continue its listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. It will consolidate various investment platforms across key sectors that are essential for future global growth, enhancing international competitiveness, operational efficiency, and generating sustainable long-term value for shareholders.

The company will focus on the energy and consumer sectors, leveraging rising energy demand, advancements in artificial intelligence, increasing global consumption, and the growing need for food security to bolster its business. The transaction is anticipated to be finalized by mid-November.

His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the International Holding Company, stated that this move reinforces the company’s unwavering commitment to establishing leading investment platforms capable of competing on a global scale and contributing to sustainable value for both Abu Dhabi and the global economy.

This merger brings together three of our largest strategic firms under a single umbrella, laying the groundwork for ongoing sustainable growth, expansion, and capacity building across vital global sectors.

Furthermore, this transaction solidifies our role as a key contributor to transformation, utilizing artificial intelligence capabilities and building dynamic networks to enhance value and shape the industries of the future.

Investment in the Future

His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of “2 Point Zero,” remarked that the company was created to realize their vision of investing in the industries of the future and accelerating their growth trajectories.

This strategic merger complements those efforts, driving transformation in the energy sector, enhancing the application of artificial intelligence, and empowering communities and consumers. This collaboration highlights our long-term vision of constructing a flexible global investment platform that connects opportunities, innovation, and sustainability.

Sayed Badr Shoaib, Chairman of “Multiply,” added that by amalgamating our integrated operations into one entity, we will accelerate expansion efforts, improve operational efficiency, and provide stronger and more diversified returns for our shareholders.

We will also continue to grow promising sectors and implement AI-driven strategies to enhance performance and create new value across sectors.

Mohammed Somer Agelkin, Chairman of “Food Holding,” stated that Food Holding has played a crucial role in supporting food security objectives in the UAE and fortifying supply chain resilience. This merger will expand our capacity for investment and growth in agriculture and food production.

The transaction will be executed through a share exchange, where “Multiply” will issue around 23.36 billion new shares to acquire 21.6 billion shares in “2 Point Zero” from stakeholders of the International Holding Company (100% of their shares) and 1.77 billion shares in “Food Holding” (83.9% of their shares). Additionally, the issued capital will increase from 2.8 billion dirhams to 8.64 billion dirhams.

Upon completion of the deal, the total issued shares for the merged entity will reach 34.56 billion shares, with the combined asset value estimated at around 120 billion dirhams. The transaction is subject to approval from shareholders and regulatory authorities and is expected to be completed by mid-November 2025.
