Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smartly Introduces A Delegation from Sharjah Police Science to One of Its Initiatives

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University welcomed a delegation from Sharjah Police Academy, led by Brigadier Dr. Jamal Ahmed Al Shuhhi, at its Dubai campus. The purpose of the visit was to explore the recently launched initiative, “AI Assistant for Every Faculty Member,” which is the first of its kind in the region. This initiative aims to harness artificial intelligence technologies to enhance smart education, academic efficiency, and institutional innovation.

In attendance from the university were Dr. Mansour Al Awar, the president, Professor Ahmed Ankit, vice president for academic affairs, along with Meitha Al Tani, vice president for artificial intelligence and technology, and Ali Al Lanjawi, director of business development.

Meitha Al Tani delivered a detailed presentation about the initiative, outlining its objectives and highlighting its role in empowering faculty members to utilize artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the learning experience, boost academic efficiency, and foster a culture of institutional innovation. The presentation also covered implementation strategies, practical use cases, and future directions for expanding the initiative both within the university and beyond.

Dr. Mansour Al Awar stated: “The initiative ‘AI Assistant for Every Faculty Member’ embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and President of the University. We seek to transform artificial intelligence into an enabling force that supports and enhances human capabilities, rather than replacing them. Through this initiative, we aim to redefine the role of faculty members in the age of artificial intelligence and transform the university into a self-learning and evolving educational environment.”
