Hamdan Bin Zayed Welcomes Energy Department Delegation and Reviews Progress of Strategic Projects in Al Dhafra Area

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, welcomed a delegation from the Department of Energy led by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Hamid Saif Al Jaroan, the head of the department, at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi. This meeting aimed to strengthen efforts to enhance energy services and support the path of sustainable development in the Al Dhafra area.

During their discussion, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on several strategic projects currently underway in Al Dhafra, which are designed to bolster the region’s energy system. These initiatives include renewable energy projects, resource efficiency improvements, and the development of infrastructure that supports economic and social growth.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the significance of these ongoing projects in Al Dhafra, highlighting their role in creating a comprehensive developmental environment that enhances the quality of life for residents and aligns with future development aspirations. This effort is in line with the guidance and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE.

He praised the Department of Energy’s efforts and the contributions of professionals in the sector, recognizing their role in supporting the comprehensive development journey in Abu Dhabi.

For their part, the delegation from the Department of Energy expressed their deep appreciation for Sheikh Hamdan’s continuous support. They reaffirmed their full commitment to implementing high-level directives and strengthening strategic partnerships that benefit the community and ensure sustainability. They also affirmed their dedication to improving services and social initiatives in Al Dhafra and throughout Abu Dhabi.

The meeting was attended by Nasser Mohammed Al Mansoori, Director of the Office of the Representative of the Ruler in Al Dhafra, and Issa Hamad Boshahab, Advisor to the Representative of the Ruler in Al Dhafra, along with several officials.
