Influencer Hub and Snapchat Unite to Launch Educational Programs and Advanced Initiatives in Augmented Reality

Creators HQ, the inaugural hub for influencers in the UAE and the Middle East, has announced a groundbreaking strategic partnership with Snapchat aimed at promoting a long-term initiative to empower content creators in the Gulf region and beyond.

This collaboration encompasses a comprehensive program featuring various quality initiatives, including “Snap Schools,” advanced training courses, workshops on augmented reality techniques, and educational sessions led by Snapchat’s global team, along with interactive events centered around augmented reality.

The partnership aims to cultivate an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and growth among content creators in the region, supporting the sector’s development in line with rapid digital transformations.

“Snap School”

As a kickoff to this collaboration, Creators HQ and Snapchat hosted the first training session under the “Snap School” program, which saw participation from over 50 prominent content creators in the region.

The training included intensive practical sessions that provided in-depth insights into the platform’s features and allowed for direct interaction with Snapchat experts, who shared essential tools, trends, and strategies to help participants enhance their presence and achieve success on the platform.

This partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to supporting the rapidly growing Snapchat content creator community, which continues to inspire audiences across the region.

In light of Snapchat’s efforts to strengthen its role as a reliable partner for creators both personally and professionally, the platform continues to build a digital ecosystem based on the principles of authenticity, transparency, and trust.

Empowering Creative Talent

In this context, Alia Al Hammadi, Deputy Director of the UAE Government Media Office and Director of the Billion Followers Summit, stated, “At Creators HQ, our top priority is to empower creative talent in the region through educational initiatives in collaboration with leading institutions. We contribute to supporting content creators in producing meaningful content that fosters their growth and provides them with sustainable income sources.”

She added, “Our partnership with Snapchat is a strategic step in our ongoing efforts to nurture and develop talented content creators in the region. We look forward to enhancing this collaboration to help empower them to elevate their skills and produce impactful content that strengthens the digital creativity landscape and enhances its presence.”

Hussein Freij, Vice President for Snapchat in the MENA region, remarked, “We are inspired by the remarkable creativity showcased by content creators across the region. Our partnership with Creators HQ represents a strategic investment in the new generation of content creators, providing them with essential tools, specialized guidance, and income opportunities to increase their presence and extend their influence.”

He continued, “We believe that empowering talented content creators and equipping them with the right knowledge and tools is the cornerstone of nurturing our creative community on Snapchat. Our aim is to support creators with resources that enhance their ability to produce meaningful content and inspiring experiences that leave a positive impact on communities while maintaining their authentic identity. Snapchat offers a unique platform for creating original and spontaneous content without restrictions on type or style. We are also focused on building a comprehensive, evolving ecosystem that provides opportunities for both established and emerging talents.”

Snapchat is continuously expanding its suite of monetization tools, enabling content creators to turn their creative passions into sustainable career paths. Through initiatives like Spotlight and Stories Rewards, along with the integration of the Creator Marketplace, creators can explore diverse avenues to profit from their content while maintaining their creative vision and unique style.

Snapchat is enhancing its focus on augmented reality technologies in the region, believing in their potential to broaden imaginative boundaries and foster interaction and innovation. With over 300 million daily user interactions with augmented reality experiences on the platform, Snapchat is solidifying its global leadership in this evolving field.

To further support creative content producers, Snapchat plans to organize advanced training sessions on using Lens Studio, allowing participants to design complete augmented reality experiences within minutes. In line with the partnership’s goals of building a thriving regional augmented reality ecosystem, the initiative offers specialized educational programs, advanced technical tools, and highlights creative talents in the MENA region.

Looking ahead, both Snapchat and Creators HQ are committed to developing new initiatives, including advanced programs focused on the use of Spectacles, the transparent, standalone augmented reality glasses developed by Snap. These initiatives aim to expand creative horizons and enhance digital skills among content creators throughout the region.

This partnership marks a pivotal moment in building a sustainable, innovation-driven creative content economy, where creators receive acknowledgment and support, and authentic stories are told with professionalism and distinction.
