The Ministry of Interior, through its General Directorate for Happiness, organized a consultative workshop aimed at senior citizens at the Al Wasl Council in Ajman. This event was conducted in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Family, and the Community Empowerment Ministry. It aligns with the ministry’s commitment to engage with its diverse clientele, listen to their suggestions and preferences, and implement the outcomes of the national policy for digital accessibility. The goal is to foster comprehensive digital transformation to ensure an inclusive community.
The workshop featured an interactive session that provided a dialogue platform for senior citizens to meet with the ministry’s team. It included a brainstorming session where participants discussed the significant challenges they face while using digital channels, as well as their needs and recommendations for enhancing their experience in accessing electronic services.
Workshop organizers emphasized that the Ministry of Interior will take the feedback from these sessions into account and strive to develop and improve digital channels and services to meet the aspirations of senior citizens.
