«Jewel» Forms in the Eastern Pacific, Coastal Areas Remain Safe

Last evening, Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, the Head of the Office of the Ruler of Sharjah, attended the annual ceremony organized by the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah, honoring outstanding Sudanese individuals and exceptional students for the year 2025. The event took place in the Al-Razi Hall within the College of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Sudan. Attendees enjoyed a traditional Emirati musical performance by the musician Mohammed Hassan Al Jassmi. They also watched a visual presentation titled “Echo of Achievement,” which highlighted various activities, events, seminars, and celebrations conducted by the center over the past year.

Engineer Ahmed Omar Khogali, the head of the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the wise leadership of the state for their generous support of all communities in the UAE. He specifically acknowledged Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for laying a strong foundation for scientific and cultural advancement through his continuous commitment to elevating knowledge and scholars.

At the conclusion of the event, Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi honored the distinguished individuals and top achievers in various award categories, including Scientific Production, Media Production, Professional Excellence, and Postgraduate Graduates in various fields.

During the ceremony, recognition was also given to high school and university graduates, as well as recipients of awards from the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah.
