Maktoum Bin Mohammed Meets CEO of HSBC Group

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, engaged in discussions with Georges Elhedery, the CEO of HSBC Holdings, regarding the future of the financial sector and Dubai’s pivotal role in this new phase of growth.

In a post on the platform “X,” His Highness stated: “I met today with Georges Elhedery, the CEO of HSBC Holdings, one of the largest financial and banking service institutions globally.”

He further emphasized, “We discussed the future of the financial sector and how Dubai can play a leading role in this new growth stage by providing advanced digital infrastructure, flexible and transparent regulations, and global partnerships with leading financial institutions. This also includes embracing innovation and advanced technologies in banking services.”
