Mina Welcomes Pilgrims to Cast Stones at the Jamrah al-Aqabah

Pilgrims have gathered at Mina, greeting the dawn of the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah with chants and praises, following their blessed day on the plains of Arafat, where they fulfilled the most significant pillar of Hajj. They spent the night at Muzdalifah under the protection and care of the Almighty.

According to reports from Saudi news agencies, upon their arrival at Mina, the pilgrims began the symbolic stoning of the Jamrah al-Aqabah. Following this act, they will proceed to sacrifice their offerings, shave their heads, perform the Tawaf around the Kaaba, and engage in the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah.

It was noted that while in Mina, the pilgrims will continue their rituals throughout the days of Tashriq, dedicating their time to glorifying God and completing the stoning of the three Jamaraat, starting with the smallest, then the middle, and finally the largest, each requiring seven pebbles.

The news agency further reported that the flow of pilgrims has been characterized by calmness and tranquility, with smooth movement among the masses.
