The General Authority for Pensions and Social Security has announced the disbursement of pensions for the month of May, set to take place on Tuesday, the 27th of this month.
The total amount allocated for pensions this May is 831,363,259.82 dirhams, reflecting an increase of 52,814,510 dirhams compared to May 2024, when pensions totaled 778,548,749.06 dirhams.
This month’s pension payments will benefit approximately 49,910 retirees and eligible recipients, which marks an increase of 1,760 beneficiaries compared to the same month last year, when around 48,150 recipients received payments.
The disbursed funds cover civilian personnel who are subject to laws enforced by the General Authority for Pensions and Social Security, as well as beneficiaries whose files are managed by the authority under pension laws administered by the Ministry of Finance.
