Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, held discussions with Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of Lebanon. The meeting focused on the fraternal relations between the two nations and explored various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts to enhance mutual interests for the benefit of their peoples and their aspirations for progress and prosperity.
This discussion took place during Dr. Salam’s working visit to the UAE, where he is participating in the “Arab Media Summit 2025” in Dubai.
During their encounter, both sides addressed several regional and international issues of common interest, emphasizing the importance of working together to promote stability, security, and peace in the region for the benefit of all its inhabitants and the development of their nations.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and expressed support for any initiatives that would lead to stability, growth, and prosperity for the Lebanese people.
In response, the Lebanese Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for the Emirati support extended to the Lebanese people and stressed the significance of strengthening Lebanon’s relations with the UAE across various fields to benefit both nations.
Attending the meeting were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidency for Special Affairs, and several high-ranking officials, including Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and Mona Al Marri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, along with other officials.
