Sara Al-Amiri Highlights Key Changes in the Education Sector

Minister Participates in High-Level Dialogue on Education and Community Integration

Minister of Education, Sara bint Youssef Al Amiri, participated in a prominent discussion titled “Integrating Education and Community towards a Model that Enhances Life Skills.” The session, moderated by journalist Sultan Al Badi, focused on the rapid transformations taking place within the UAE education sector.

In her remarks at the seminar held during the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, the Minister described the school as a natural extension of the student’s environment and community. She emphasized that educational development begins at home and continues in the classroom.

The minister stated that it is within schools that students’ identities are shaped and their personalities are developed. She noted that schools play a crucial role in determining individuals’ paths both socially and intellectually.

Al Amiri elaborated that the Ministry is committed to advancing the educational framework through various innovative approaches, including the integration of technology and artificial intelligence. These initiatives aim to empower students to effectively utilize these tools, as the ministry prioritizes the cultivation of practical skills among learners.

Additionally, she highlighted that ensuring the future generations’ empowerment requires continuous skill updates. The ministry is focused on building students’ self-confidence by training them in both social and scientific competencies.
