This morning, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, along with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the Eid al-Adha prayers at the Grand Eid Mosque in Khuzam, Ras Al Khaimah.
Joining them were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah; Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah; Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics; as well as several other dignitaries, high-ranking officials, and members of the local and federal departments, along with a large gathering of citizens and residents from the Arab and Muslim communities in the region.
In his sermon, the Imam emphasized that Eid is a day of joy and celebration, serving as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of love, compassion, and respect among individuals. He highlighted various noble values and lessons from Islam that every Muslim should embody to foster goodness and love in society, expressing gratitude to God for His countless blessings.
The Imam also prayed for the success and good health of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and for continued guidance for His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi. He expressed hopes that this blessed occasion would return to the people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic nations with prosperity and blessings.
He concluded his sermon with prayers for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as for the founding leaders, asking for God’s mercy to envelop them and for them to be granted eternal peace in His paradise.
