The “Salama” system, an intelligent virtual security assistant, garnered attention from visitors at the Dubai Digital Platform during the GITEX 2025 event. The Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA) showcased an advanced model for utilizing artificial intelligence in the security sector and smart institutional transformation.

Powered by generative AI, “Salama” functions as a comprehensive digital assistant that interacts with users across digital channels 24/7, providing immediate services and accurate responses from an extensive knowledge base. It is proficient in Modern Standard Arabic, Emirati dialect, and English, with the capability to enhance its performance based on user feedback.

The system is integrated with organizational frameworks such as databases and licensing systems, enabling it to execute initial transactions intelligently and securely without human intervention. It supports audio and visual communication through a digital interface that features a virtual employee with an Emirati accent, instilling a sense of security and trust.

Khalifa Ibrahim Al Slaise, the CEO of SIRA, emphasized that artificial intelligence is a crucial tool in building a smart and sustainable security ecosystem, asserting that the project embodies Dubai’s vision for a comprehensive security experience that blends technology with Emirati values.

The organization also announced the “SIRA Hub” project, a three-dimensional virtual world offering educational and training experiences in security and safety. This platform allows exploration of the organization’s premises, attendance at workshops and lectures, and interaction with AI-supported virtual staff.

The “SIRA Hub” features interactive areas including a virtual reception, three-dimensional lecture halls, interactive meeting rooms, and a platform for virtual attendance at workshops, thereby creating training opportunities for security personnel, students, and those interested in modern technologies, while promoting a culture of smart security.
