The Sharjah Book Authority has entered into a partnership with Investment Bank to create a book that promotes financial literacy for children, in collaboration with the Sharjah Publishing Sustainability Fund (Publish).
The agreement was signed two days ago during the sixteenth edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival. It was signed by Iman Bin Sheiba, Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Sharjah Book Authority, and Hamida Al Khulisan, Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing at Investment Bank, in the presence of Ahmed Bin Rakkad Al Ameri, CEO of the authority, and Idris Al Rafi, CEO of Investment Bank.
As part of this collaboration, Investment Bank will sponsor the production of a storybook aimed at introducing children aged 8 and above to the principles of financial literacy in an engaging and simplified manner. The book is expected to be launched during the upcoming Sharjah International Book Fair.
Ahmed Bin Rakkad Al Ameri stated that this partnership reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to strengthen the role of books in various aspects of human development and to create educational content that contributes to raising awareness from childhood.
He highlighted that the Sharjah Book Authority remains committed to developing initiatives that bring books closer to children’s daily lives, providing them with the tools to foster curiosity, nourish imagination, and enhance their understanding of the world around them.
Idris Al Rafi expressed pride in the collaboration with the Sharjah Book Authority, emphasizing that it opens new avenues for educating children about financial principles in an innovative and experiential way.
